What is Heartfulness?
Heartfulness is a transformative, multicultural approach that integrates mindfulness, compassion, and responsibility with the goal of enhancing well-being and interconnectedness. It has evolved over two decades in Stanford classrooms, its origin compassionately crafted by Dr. Murphy-Shigematsu, a clinical and community psychologist from Harvard University.

- Over 500+ scientific and psychology studies have inspired the Heartfulness curriculum

- The curriculum integrates modern psychological and scientific research in medicine, neuroscience, psychology, and community health

Heartfulness experiences have been facilitated for diverse communities, including preschoolers, veterans, university students, school teachers, doctors, and more.

Dr. Murphy-Shigematsu is currently a faculty member at the Stanford Medical School and my mentor and teacher.

I've had the privilege of serving as a teaching assistant for two of Sensei's Stanford Heartfulness Undergraduate classes. Additionally, I am a Stanford Heartfulness Fellow under the Stanford Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

This website is an evolving personal blog containing my reflections on my experiences as a Heartfulness fellow. My Sensei has trained me to spread Heartfuness and facilitate workshops. I'm currently working on a formal academic publication with my professor, and my website will be updated with this soon.
